THE PRICE OF BEAUTIFUL

When lustful men saw this living goddess,
Her tempting charms they sought possess
Though blessed with a lovely face n’ body,
She was not prone to "lewd and gaudy"
No…
It was never her intention to beguile/entice;
(Yet her innocence ‘n purity was taken)
For her beauty death would be the price!

You are one man who sees things differently. It is a refreshing feeling to know that a male could understand her ways. I love the poem. She never found her real daddy. Yes, she paid an awful price - so sad!
